Q:
Where does it come from?

A:
Moissanite can trace its origins to meteors from space. The story of Moissanite begins in 1894 when a French Nobel prize winning scientist by the name of Henri Moissan discovered particles of a material that were amazingly brilliant and diamond-like in their appearance. Further research proved that Moissan had discovered one of the rarest materials found on earth. In 1905, in Moissan's honor, the newly discovered jewel was named Moissanite.
